Hi

I really hope so. Its clearly driving us all crackers. It's so annoying. Plus the quality of the actual visuals are terrible. Looks like everything has been filmed in the dark. Ridiculous.  Mid November Its gunna be fixed by?. Three days away folks. A

Re: Discovery+ Age rating on screen wont go away

I've been getting the same issue on mine. However, I resumed Gold Rush in the main menu on discoveryplus and the rating and dark shadow at the top disappeared. If I pause the programme and then press play, the rating and dark shadow stay on the screen. To get rid, I backed out to the main menu and resumed the programme. They disappeared again after that. Anyone else get similar?

It comes back after ads too. When this happens, I go back to the main menu, then resume again. Not ideal but takes seconds and clears it for me.

Re: Discovery+ Age rating on screen wont go away

In addition to this issue, and by way of curiosity, do others find when using these streaming channels, that everything takes so long to load and when using rewind and fast-forward, it's hit-and-miss how far back or forward you go, and without the content freezing?

I find the experience of using streaming hugely frustrating.

I have fibre broadband and running at about 60mps.

Having the same problem, it's bloody annoying, having to press the back button and then go back in to the programme, did a google search to see if there was anything I could do to fix it, but came across this thread and I guess not! Come on Sky, a massive company like yours, and your not fixing it or can't or won't 😡

Hi

For a temp fix and no adverts ! Do the following.  Log into your discovery + account on the Internet.   Not in sky box! Go to profile either edit current profile and set kids rating then change rating to 15 .  Or create a new profile with kid setting and again change rating to 15 and save .  Go to sky box and select your profile [if you changed it ] or select new profile and enjoy until there is a fix.   You will just not be able to watch anything 18 rated

Hi

I'm also experiencing this issue.

It's very easy to replicate as it occurs after an advert.

As a staff member, I can test for an incident if required.

Re: Discovery+ Age rating on screen wont go away

Is there any update to this yet as we're now in mid November. I'm hoping it's literally a matter of days. I watch multiple shows on Discovery+ so doing this many times is extremely frustrating and annoying. I've used the app via my sky Q box for over a year without a problem. I went away for 4 months and it's been like this since I came back a few weeks ago. I'm extremely disappointed and surprised that a fix has taken so long. Discovery and sky should try and put customers 1st

See page 99 may help?

Discovery + came back to my email today . They are still working on a fix. No date on when  it will be resolved . They said they will email once it is fixed or have a further info .

Really needs Sky to push ,  and update us all.

Why is this taking so long to fix? The answer was provided on the 28th of October
