@Matt1903 the answer provided on the 28th does state that Discovery are testing a fix they may still be testing the fix or the testing has shown the fix hasn't worked there are many resons as to why Discovery haven't released a fix yet

Sorry I forgot that technical problems and organisations like sky and discovery just take money and sub everything out to India to people who don't care. Technical issue can be fixed in an hour. Lazy is all it is and people point fingers at each other and not solving the problem

The update with the fix should be available by now. I just wanted to double-check if you're still experiencing the issue.

 

If the age rating banner is still not disappearing, please try refreshing the app.

@Kelsingra Just checked here and its still exactly the same

Refreshed apps and it has not changed anything

Do you know what core software and client application version and app version it should be after this fix?

As it stands it is still

4.0.12

2.54.2

1.32.0

so nothing has changed yet

Any update driving me up the wall makes the screen so dark

Thank you for the update! I followed up with the Tech Team and learned that they had to delay the update, but it’s scheduled to go live early next week. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I understand how frustrating this bug can be.

Unfortunately some platforms aren't modular or agile enough to do these things as easily as they ought to be done.
