Currently watching pop up

Hello,

I've noticed recently when watching my mini box in the middle of a show, a popup banner appears right across the bottom of my screen that says 'currently watching' then a picture of the episode, it then shows the next episode to the right of it. I can dismiss it by pressing back, but this never happened before. How do I disable this? It's super distracting/annoying. I haven't noticed it on my main box.

Thanks, Carl

Hi @CarloBrando87

This sounds like the info banner..

This is activated by pressing select or the info button.

Check that none of these two buttons are sticking.

Re: Currently watching pop up

I keep getting the same thing, always mid program, and the remote is nowhere near me. I've had this problem before and I found a fix, but I now can't remember it, but it's frustrating!

Re: Currently watching pop up

My Sky Q box has just started doing this on recordings I'm watching back. If it's an hour long show it'll pop up around 44 minutes in for no apparent reason.

A minor inconvenience compared to the many other foibles the system has but if there's a way to stop it I'd love to hear about it.
