Changing my sky Q box for a mini

I would like to swap over my sky Q box for a mini so I don't have the big white cables. A lady at one of those help desks in town, told me it was free and to just call.

Does anyone know if you can do this via the app, or the actual number?

Any mini would be in addition to the main Q box.

A mini is a slave device to the main Q box and requires a multiroom subscription (Around £15pm - there first mini may be 'free' or £50)

...or are you thinking of moving to a stream service?  (Quite a different product)

As @PandJ2020 indicates, the system being referred to was probably Sky Stream, where all content arrives over the broadband connection and so a dish feed cable isn't required.
