Can't download

Hi I've been trying to download but it keeps saying problems with broadband I've checked and everything is fine they suggested resetting the hard drive which I don't really want to do as I have a lot of recordings can anyone help please ?

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer
