Why is it so difficult to pay a DD that declined?

My direct debit declined and now I can't pay it because it's saying it will go towards my account not the actual bill that I owe? How confusing? Is there a way to actually pay just the bill I owe? With 02 if I missed a payment I could just log in and pay online for that one payment.

The DD will be re-attempted in 10 days.

 

If that fails then your services will be restricted.

 

You should never make manual payments unless specifically requested.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
