Returning an iphone

I ordered a 1TB iPhone 17 pro for delivery before Christmas. I contacted sky on the chat & they said it would be 1-2 weeks. I agreed to order a 512GB iPhone 17 pro. I was told I couldn't cancel the 1st phone. I was told I had to wait for it to arrive & then refuse to take delivery. Both phones are now scheduled to arrive tommorrow now! Should I accept both & then contact sky to return one of them. It seems wrong to me to refuse delivery! Please advise.

@Neil230

If you accept the delivery and contact Sky to arrange it's return you will have a tracking receipt to prove that you have returned it because while you can refuse the delivery should anything go amiss on your account about this you can not prove that it has been returned.

Personally I wouldn't refuse delivery - accept it and then arrange a return of the unwanted item.  But it takes 3-4 weeks to process returns so you'll have to pay for both in the interim.

Ensure you keep proof of posting.
