So I recently swapped my iPhone 14 for an iPhone 16. The price before was £62 p/m which I had paid for years.
I upgraded to the 16 and the bill increased to £66, which I expected.
Having spoken to sky I was informed that my old iPhone 14 was valued at £420 and the outstanding credit stood at £520, so I owed £100 which I was fine with.
having looked on the app, it now says that I am due to pay £104 for my next bill. It seems the old phone remains on the billing.
I am currently waiting on my returns label to send the old 14 back. Will this reduce the bill to the £66 once the phone has been successfully returned?
i understand that I still owe £100 which is fine, I would rather pay it as a one off payment. My concern is that the £104 is predicted for the next 2 years, which definitely isn't correct as I won't have the old phone.
any help appreciated.

Although the valuation is just that - the actual value will be confirmed after inspection.

Thank you both for your answer, it's much appreciated.
one last query, the £100 I still owe, is that taken at the next billing date or is it spread out over the current contract?
