I'm on hold to them now trying to cancel, first time I've ever ordered a new phone on launch day, been with Sky 6 years and had countless devices for all the family, they have lost my business today for the lies I've been told, I wouldnt have minded if it arrived in a week or 2 weeks, its the fact I've waited in all day for a phone that was never going to be delivered, despite being told 100% this morning that the phone would be delivered today before 5pm, very poor customer services and thats what you get for being a so called GOLD customer 😕

Ordered a 17 pro max from Sky

Just wondering what the actual network is like?

Living in a city centre, is the network reliable?

Read some reviews which worried me a bit.

The worst thing is now it's sold out everywhere for at least 4 weeks, so I can't even get it anywhere else, I will never buy from Sky again and I'm a so-called VIP customer

Good luck with that @JaseHoare - I'm approaching 2 hours on the phone, having spoken to six different people trying to cancel. Whatever training these foreign call centres receive is abysmal, they talk too long overexplaining things, outright lie, make false statements and backtrack on them, have no empathy, constantly transfer to different departments who are irrelevant and have no idea what I'm talking about, not to mention having to go through security every single time I'm transferred.

Guarantee if I could get put through to the Scottish call centre this would have been sorted a long time ago. Have they closed it down?

I'm kinda tempted to call them however I don't have the time to, I spoke to a person on live chat who said she had escalated my case, but couldn't give me a date/delivery time or anything. 

What phone did you order? I ordered the 17 Pro max cosmic orange 256 gb

Omg I was just on the phone to complain to Sky and just got a DPD email come through!!! That's for iPhone 17 Pro Max 512gb in Orange ordered 12/09/25 at 5.20pm.... we have hope everyone!!!!

@SarahBW1 I can't even get a live chat going and I can't be bothered faffing around on the phone all night  I'm gonna call it and say it will arrive when it arrives... gonna go play xbox instead.

I would not bother 

Iv spoke to the retention team

She said no one can do anything 

There no one to speed this up

No way of checking it 

She has emailed another department this morning who haven't replied to her 

She's not from the movile department 

She was nice and said they can only see what we see and estimate but that's it 

There is nothing we can do but wait I think which is **bleep**!!!

Its a waiting game no one can help with this because its just a call centre! The whole thing is a joke and Iv been told they don't offer compensation for delayed phones that are out of their control apparently. 

This happens every year!

@SarahBW1 some games that go down all day at least give us 30 minutes before  a crash for the rest of the day lol oh well maybe ill get my mist blue iphone 17 tomorrow who knows.
