Checked my messages on the my sky app, still no delivery estimate, and i pre ordered my 17PM at 1:04pm on the 12th.

@Brad8918 @Totally unacceptable isn't it!! Is this an apple issue with not supplying them or have sky overcommitted?

Totally a sky issue.

 

They have clearly just pulled names out of a hat and packed their order. No list or system had been used here no chance. 

the communication had been 100% shocking throught the process.

Just been told this by the online chat agent:

 

"The delivery has been delayed due to a holdup from Apple. We received the stock today, and deliveries will start from tomorrow."

 

So is this an Apple problem or a Sky problem? Sky really needs to get better at communicating to customers the correct information...

I've got a 17 pro sat in front of me, I changed my mind to a pro max last minute and the pro order couldnt be cancelled. I was going to send it back but given this mess and the fact I'd sold my existing phone on eBay I'll now need to now keep the pro.

Sky is 100% blaming apple for their issues. 0 real support, 0 Compensation, 3 different answers everyday to countless people. I feel like they have a sticky note saying to just wing it where they can and hope for the best. Worst service i've recieved from any company.

I called them out on x and Facebook  no reply  like why look bad when you can just blame appe ,I know there are big delays  in the US , delivery dates Oct. 

Still waiting  on the. call back. Do sky not monitor  these Forums .

My 17 Pro (Deep Blue, 256GB) is being delivered today after 6pm. 

 

Also have a Pro Max which I ordered on the 15th which like others I've had a message saying delivery by 4th October.

 

Pretty annoying, and Sky won't offer any sort of discount or compensation for the delay. 

 

Honestly, reading everyone's frustrations, why havent Sky learned from their experiences in the past? This happened for the 15 and the 16.

Same thing happens every year - i didn't upgrade last year as i didn't see the need. Totally forgot the issues of the past 4 or 5 upgrades previously - my fault!

I think I've only received one iphone on launch day and it wasnt even mine - it was my wife's 2 years ago.

I've been on chat and tried to cancel, I'm just too annoyed and will spend my money elsewhere (it'll be cheaper to buy direct and spread the cost out as buying through sky they add £200 odd onto the cost anyway)  - they said its impossible to cancel as it is being processed and could be here today - but couldn't tell me where I was in the queue etc, I persisted and magically after asking a few times they said - oh you can cancel now as youve been so insistent.

To be honest a day off has been wasted - I've lost money due to the trade in value of my 15Pro max having dropped from my offer which was timed to perfection (dropped £150) not to mention the money lost from a day not in work too. 

Not happy, and I will be taking my money elsewhere - especially as I was able to get a sim only deal which is a tenth of the price and I get 10 times more data than Sky were offerring.

I placed my order at 2pm on the 12th and my  iPhone 17 pro 256GB cosmic orange has just arrived!

 

This is the one they told me they had cancelled due to a technical error and made me re-order 😅 Customer service and lack of awareness of what's going on has been an absolute joke. Apparently my duplicate (now uncessary re-order) is two weeks out but they can't cancel as it's in transit...

I've pre ordered every Pro Max phone on launch since the 13 Pro Max from sky and received it on launch day with no issues. This is the first year i've faced issues and it most definitely seems like im not the only one, I pre ordered my 17 Pro Max on the 12th a minute or two after 1pm and today I only have a dpd tracking number with it telling me it's waiting for sky to send the parcel, im yet to receive the delivery message from sky which some people said they've received just now.
