Hello, a few days ago I ordered myself a new phone, the iPhone 16 pro max, but it's saying it's on backorder, anybody know how long it will be before it gets delivered or how long it's going to take?

I hav moved your post to the large discussion on iphone 16 delivery issues, from looking at other posts 5-6 weeks plus seems to be the current wait times.

It's abit of a joke, you'd think when they bring a new phone out they would have enough stock of it considering how many people would want the phone, I ordered mine in the desert colour 16 pro max, it said when I was ordering it that it was estimated 2-3 weeks but it's saying it's on backorder and I've got no updates all it says on my tracking is "coming soon"!

Similar to launches of new iPhones in previous years it appears Apple can't keep up with the supply and demand.

I think we all just need to be patient no amount of us posting on here will speed the process up. I myself have  been impatient I'm just going to wait it out and hope for the best. I hope everyone receives there device soon x
