How do you manage to speak to someone on live chat? I can only get the chat bot and if I want to speak to someone it just gives the customer service number.

I just got off the phone with a senior manager after escalating it.

The position is that, anyone who pre ordered on 13th September, there is a 3-4 week delay from that point on all pros, pro max's and 16 plus.  Those who pre ordered on 13th have first priority so the 3-4 week delay kicks in from the 13th, meaning the device won't be received until 2nd week of October.

What frustrated me was he said Apple disclosed to all retail providers 3 days before pre orders went live that there will be production delays and not enough devices, yet Sky and all retailers still went ahead with pre orders, which I said should never have happened. So there is no hope to receive any updates until next week.

Just an update for everyone I ordered the IPhone 16 Pro 128gb black on the 16th and finally got an update today saying expected delivery 26th ( tomorrow) not sure if I'll get it but will keep everyone updated

Well that sucks balls but at least we know... I might cancel I might just leave it.. Will think.. We clearly have time to think it over if it's that long away!

Still haven't had anything via DPD even thought my update says 'expected 26th of September' hopefully get an update later today from DPD

So I just called customer service after receiving a text yesterday saying my phone will be delivered on the 26th September because I don't believe it to be true. The agent I spoke to said if I received a text yesterday I should receive an email confirmation and text from DPD by the end of today and my phone will be delivered tomorrow. I asked her "are you saying my phone is guaranteed to be here on Thursday the 26th?" And the agent said "yes the phone will definitely be there" so we'll see if I've been lied to again or not. Will keep you updated especially as I know @champagneslay ordered the same model and colour as me before I did  and is yet to hear anything from Sky. 
I'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best! 
I mentioned that on my tracking it still shows as "coming soon" and the agent said that was correct and to look out for the email and text by the end of today. I previously logged a complaint so not sure if that's helped to prioritise my delivery or not. Just a waiting game now...
