SkyGo on ipad air

Watched the cricket on Sky Sports cricket [404] on my ipad but found it had really chewed through my data. I thought it was data free if i used sky mobile? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Cheers

Many thanks for escalating this, the message team pointed me in the right direction, turns out Private Relay was enabled in iCloud. Now switched off and everything is working as it should. Brilliant service and very much appreciated.

Apart from a tiny amount for some adverts is should be data free so I know this sounds like an odd question but what are you looking at when you see that data is being used, is it the settings app on the iPad itself or your Sky account perhaps via the MySky app ?

through the My Sky app, i've uninstalled sky go and restarted the ipad but that hasn't helped

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who will be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to 24 hours to be contacted via this.
