Same problem here. Used to work fine on Xbox and mobile. Still works on mobile but not on Xbox.

does your account fulfill this requirement as the NEW Sky go App on Console has corrected the validation that the old app was letting people through incorrectly

I'm having the same issue, since the app updated on the xbox it has stopped worked.
The app still works on mobile devices and pcs but not the console.
We have
If the case is true that the app update has fixed a bug and now you cant watch sky on a console without paying enough more money a month this is a joke. Something that has worked for 8+ years fine and is just the same as streaming for the PC next to it!

You don't seem to have the required Sky Go Extra/Multiscreen subscriptions

Ive had Sky Go Extra and was given it as a Sky Diamond VIP along time ago, why is it not there now?
I'm still a Sky Diamond VIP with more than 22 years of holding a sky account.

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

When the chat bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Sky has been under different ownership since 2018. It's not unusual for a new owner to review business practices and look to remedy errors where these have financial costs.

I understand this, but also 2018 was 5 years ago, thats no longer new owners and how does the console version cost any more than watching this on a PC or mobile device? The xbox is used in a games room next to a PC, so streaming will still happen there just on a different device.

Hey everyone, my problem is now sorted. Call the number 0333 say you want to speak to a real person, iv been account holder for 22 years and they added skygo back to my account free of charge (rightly so)
