Can someone please help me.  Being a long time subscriber to sky tv, I have been offered a free upgrade to sky q.  My question is.  I have a sky+ box and I control it using the sky+ app on my tablet.  The app of course shows the tv listings and gives me the options, when highlighted,  to either, watch on TV, record or record series or download.

Are these same features of the sky+ app available to on the Sky Go app when connected to a sky q box?  I don't want to be forced to upgrade to sky  q and not have these features.  I have been told by sky customer services that the Sky Go app does not have any of these features.  I 'm asking these questions as I've been given wrong information on many an occasion before from Sky.

Please help.

The features are not available via the Sky+ app when using a Sky Q box, you can set a remote recording and that is all. You will be unable to view your records for example. The Sky Go app allows you to play you recordings if the app and the Q box are on the same network and if you have a multiscreen connection.
