I uninstall and reinstalled the Sky Go app. Still getting the error message. Sky say its because I have Sky +HD and remote recording works with Sky Q. As recently as 4 weeks ago, it worked fine, so I have no clue when exactly this change came into effect. The joke is: I can remotely record to my Sky+HD box from my Lenovo Thinkpad (make that make sense!)
I'm sure Sky will stop responding to me soon. We just keep flip-flopping back and forth. It's exhausting.

Sky Go
Sky Go, has suddenly stopped working, nothing has changed in my equipment, or set up, getting this error message. when i try to record from Sky Go TV Guide,, have uninstalled and reinstalled app, rebooted box, using Android phone in Sky Go, still the same,
" Something went wrong Record request not sent, please try again " OK

Can we all get this help? Remote recording on my Sky Go stopped working last month, and it's a real step vack not veing able to use this any more.
Also, I have not been able to see or record BBC channels on my phone for a long time. Will this ever be fixed?

@AlanH7 you have never been able to view BBC channels when you are not connected to your home network/broadband the BBC want you to use Iplayer when you are out of the house. If you are saying you cannot view BBC channels whilst at home and connected to the same network/broadband pleas confirm this
To be able to record BBC channels whilst out of your home when you are in the TV guid there are 2 heading watch on phone or Record to Sky box by selecting record to sky box you can record the bbc channels
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Just tell the Sky Go team to reverse the change that they made around 3 weeks ago that stopped this working in the first place.

Unable to set q box to record using mobile phone
I can no longer use my mobile phone to set Q box to record programs on the tv. I get the message
'something went wrong record request not sent please try again'
Everything else is ok.

This is a known issue with Android mobiles. Sky are aware but there is no word on a fix at present.

Setting a program to record from my sky go app
Hi, I have always been able to set programs to record from my sky go app while away from home. I am now unable to do this even though my WiFi while sat in front often Q box...? DerekR
