So new version of app out, same old problems as usual.
I take it Sky are just going to ignore this in the hope it will go away, you must know what the problem is as you know what the changes you made to cause a working program turn into a useless non working program for so many people.
Are you going to fix the problem or do your usual and ignore it in the hope it goes away, this has now gone on for months now.

Taking months for reply.
Problem still exists and should be simple to resolve.
Someone posted killing one of the for sky go tasks undertaken ctl alt delete.
This allows video to work. So stop invoking this process as it causes the problem under windows 11.

Yes it's still happening.
And not only do I get a black screen with just audio, but it also locks my PC like this and I have to do a hard shutdown to get out of it !

With the 2 Nov updated, the problem is EXACTLY, as I described below, and thr work arround also still works.

I take it that Sky are not going to do anything about this and are just going to ignore the problem.
I wish they would just say that they are just going to do their usual and just ignore this in the hope the problem will just go away.
It's terrible customer service and show's exactly how poor Sky have now become, take our money and deliver poor substandard software for as little money as possible, shame on you Sky 😒

Hello everyone!
I managed to resolve the issue of not being able to view the video while the audio was functioning.
I want to clarify that it has always worked for me; however, since around July 2024, Sky Go has not been operating correctly as it did before. I fixed this by uninstalling a mod application for Windows 11 called Rectify11.
What’s odd is that I’m quite certain that Sky Go was working even after I installed this software.
Nevertheless, if any of you have Rectify11 installed, try uninstalling it and restarting your PC.

Went to try and do this, and could not find any reference to Rectify on my PC, I assume this means it not on it ? Or is it harder to find ?

Yup I still have this problem, utter shambles. Paying for a service and not getting it currently. Would appreciate an update from sky here! Doesn't look like we are getting one though!!

Hello,
If you do not see Rectify11 in the list of applications, it indicates that it is not installed on your PC. To determine whether the issue stems from a specific configuration of your current Windows user, please try the solution I posted earlier. Essentially, you should create a new account on that PC, reinstall Sky Go, and check if you can view the video.
