Last night i had a update on Sky go and since updating there is no video and just audio, Its the exact same on both laptops, Anyone help?

Until yesterday I have been ableto watch Sky on my Laptop without any issues. Now when I select a programme I get a black screen with sound only. When adverts come on I do get a picture and sound but as soon as adverts finish a black screen appears with sound only.
This happens on live tv / documentaries etc.
I have removed and re-installed the Sky Go App but still no joy.
any ideas?

Downloaded new update for sky yesterday, have not used for two weeks. I then watched F1 qualifying.
Not working today and missed f1.
Tried reinstalling, updated my net framework. and so on.
Click the app and I get a black screen, no messages and just hangs there waiting for it to work..
P.s when I deleated the app and reinstalled. Updated to the newr version no problem.

There's no way to communicate with software developer? What's the problem?
App messed up from days and no response, mac os sonoma here.

Uninstall the Sky Go app and then go to 'C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming (ensure hidden files/folders are visible) and delete the following folders:
Sky
Sky Go
And if it is present (it might not be) the Cisco and/or Synamedia folder in App\Data\LocalLow.
Empty your recycle bin.
Reboot your PC and then download and install the Sky Go app again via here:
https://www.sky.com/watch/sky-go/windows

Getting exactly the same after an update today, reinstalkled clearing the cache doesnt help. Only started after todays update 24.1.3-2

unfortunately didnt work, its no coincidence that both laptops had a update and now both only play audio 😢

Yup agreed, seems to be issues reported on Macs also. IF only these updates were tested properly before release.

Yes, my Windows 11 PC now does not work since an update today. Frustrating!

My Sky Go has stopped working after having to download & install update 24.1.3.0
It had been working fine up until then. I have deleted the app, the Sky Go files, the Cisco files, and tried to reinstall an older version of the app, but then have to install the newest update as there is no way to stop it. I have also tried running it as an administrator, but no joy.
Anybody know whats going on??
