Re: Glass/Stream: There is a technical fault, please try again later/latency when changing channels

Hi,

My sky stream has been down since Friday evening. I have done a restart on the settings and I've switched it off/ on at the plug and it's still not working.
Any further advice for what I should do?
KR,

R

Hi @Sarahburns92

Try powering your glass off at the mains for a few minutes in the first instance. Failing that you will have to provide more information such as ISP, broadband speed, is this a new install etc. etc.

We are fellow customers on the community and know nothing about you or your set up unless you tell us!

Edit: there was an outage. Try rebooting as per: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Glass/Glass-Stream-There-is-a-technical-fault-please-try-again-late...

Hi @Lee-_

There was an issue earlier today. Power off at the mains for a few minutes and try again.

Re: Technical fault with all channels

I've got the same issue and looking at sports forums on social media, many others are having similar issues.

Technical Fault

Technical fault message keeps showing on both my sky puck and sky glass. This only appears on tv channels and Sky channels/Sky streaming such as movies.

happening intermittent all day today, only thing I can watch is streaming such as Chanel 5, ITVX Netflix.

been having constant issues with both puck and glass and have contacted Sky several times in the last 2 weeks. Getting ridiculous now

Sky Puck keeps dropping connection

We're experiencing problems with our Sky Puck.  We didn't  have any channels at all last night due to 'a technical fault' and continually says 'waiting for the programme to load', and it isn't the first time it's happened.

even with resets it doesn't work. We usually just wait and it comes on again after a couple of hours! Not good enough really

Getting rather worried reading this.

Just ordered SKY Glass. May be sending back on this feedback. 😞

Dont worry, you will love it, some people are never happy, I have had mine 3 weels and i am really impressed with it, especially the sound, i had an LG soundbar previously, but Glass is more punchy and clear.

It's much better now than when it was first released, that's for sure 😁 (I've been here a long time, just not posted for a while)

We've done the hard yards and gone through the pain so you guys can live the dream 😁
