Getting rather worried reading this.

Just ordered SKY Glass. May be sending back on this feedback. 😞

Hi @Hooch789 There was a glitch yesterday morning at Sky's end but it was resolved (in my case at least) by about 0930 after I rebooted and I have not had any issue since.

Hopefully you will love the streaming platform, I certainly do and wouldn't even consider going back to Sky Q.  However be aware that for the best experience you need a fast good quality and stable wi-fi signal.

Likewise had issues in the morning but was rectified later in the day. As a comparison , when there was bad weather lately I was up and running where friends and family on satellite had little or no signal. I was an early adopter with the Glass Gen1 and now have a Gen2 with a few pucks , it works for me but it's not a one size fits all so appreciate it's not for everyone.

Sky Glass (S-43") , 3 pucks, Sky Broadband Ultrafast (FTTP) 1 Gbps , 3 Sky Max Pods

Just a thought, but it's likely the terrestrial apps that support live stream through them would have worked, and also, should you have an aerial connected, and I know some won't, the now long awaited (by me anyway) option to use the terrestrial aerial on the Glass TVs as part of the main apps would have been a workaround.

Sky stream black screen when I select anything

This morning, every time I select a programme or a channel, the screen goes black, like there's a signal issue.  Home screen is fine but as soon as I select anything, the programme won't play.  I've rebooted the puck, the WiFi but still nothing is working. Any ideas please?

@Fruitloop77

Sounds like you are suffering from the recent issue reported in this merged thread.

Read the Sky answered post in this thread for  the latest.

Suggestion is to try a restart. See you mention you have done similar, but can you again doing a settings restart;

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

Re: Sky stream black screen when I select anything

Thank you. I had to unplug the hdmi and power cables for a few minutes and then restarted it. Just a normal reboot didn't seem to work.  Thank you.
