I've been reading on Gemini that major changes are underway for the home screen with refreshed rails to appear specific to the user rather than a standard Sky rollout.
Continue watching is to be updated to include additional features with a greater degree of what's been watched within a series and new episodes so the confusion of where am I at should be eliminated. Nothing on removing items though.
Also Playlists to be updated with a homescreen rail that is also proactive in giving suggestions of new and similar content to view. Plus more accurate episode numbers and watched history.
Your apps will update with most frequent
Your channels most watched rail
Because you watched suggestions rail
In addition voice to be improved along with faster app opening and smother transition of the UI. Improved tile spacing.
Plus interface between Netflix, Disney and Prime to be enhanced for an improved data transition between servers.
It sounds like Sky are looking to make the home screen feel more familiar and standard to the individual user just as apps like Netflix, Apple etc update to personal use rather than a one for all approach.
All sounds good, interesting and a step forward.
