I am getting the same thing. I've been paying for Sky Sports for 2 years, and suddenly today it asks for an upgrade. Click on the upgrade button and it says "Already subscribed".

There is nothing to advise except to read the post marked as answer which tells you Sky are investigating the issue. That post will be updated once the issue is resolved.

Screen saying need upgrade

Trying to watch sky sports & says I need to upgrade but I know I pay for sky sports. Also  keep losing signal, happening more & more over last 2 weeks

 @Jcc1 Sky don't provide ETCs on resolutions. All that will happen is that the post marked as the answer will be updated once the issue is fixed.

Already have Sports, told I need to upgrade

I am in contract for Sports but out of the blue I get the 'To watch this channel, you need to upgrade your subscription' message on all of the sports channels on my Sky Glass.


Has anyone else got this and more importantly, does anyone know how to resolve it? Already sent an email to Sky but can't imagine it will be answered today.

Thanks again for your posts. We are aware of an issue affecting Glass and Stream Sky Sports channels and have the right people engaged to get it fixed 💪

 

Edit: A reboot may resolve the issue in the meantime.
