sky sports channels saying that i need to upgrade

All sky sports channels are saying that i need to upgrade to view this channel. I have full sky sports package, have rebooted and have also tried to select the option to upgrade, but that then tells me that I already have the service.

Hi all,

Thanks again for your posts. We are aware of an issue affecting Glass and Stream Sky Sports channels and have the right people engaged to get it fixed 💪

Edit: A reboot may resolve the issue in the meantime.

@Claytos Do you have the UHD package and if not are you trying to watch UHD channels by mistake?

No I don't. It's the HD channels that are not working even though I subscribe.

Sports package

I have sky sports and sports plus packages, been paying for them since November 2024. Just turned on my tv and it's telling me to press the button with the red, green, yellow and blue dots to upgrade. Pressed the button and it reiterates that I already have the package but it can take up to 4 hours to get my upgrade. How can it be an upgrade when I already have the package and was able to watch the Lions match this morning on Sky sports main event?

Fair enough. It was the only thing that came to mind as a possibility before I jumped to blaming a Sky technical issue for it!

Sports on stream needs upgrading subscription

Hi, This afternoon the sports, cricket, F1, golf have stopped on my stream service, with the message, you need to upgrade your subscription.? I checked my products, I am paying for the sports pack, I can see the programmes on my phone using the app. When I press the TV to upgrade the subscription it says I already have it! Fraser
