sky glass tv stuck in recovery

I got secondhand glass tv gen1. It was working fine, but today it wanted to update, so i did and now its stuck in recovery. It just wont start downloading software (tried 3 different net providers on eth/wifi). I know that i dont have support on second hand tv, but common. Do i have to thrash it? I think it tries to download the software from sources that doesnt exist anymore. I already captured traffic during update attempt, and every domain in dns requests is pingable.

Have you tried ringing Sky? I would do that before you trash it.

Anyone want to do packet capture on his TV and send me list of domains so i can dns redirect tv for software download? 

I just want this TV for hdmi input.

@Sviccc  A UK Glass TV is and never has been designed to work outside of the UK & Ireland, as this is a Sky community we won't help you get around any geo restrictions, you should have simly bought a standard smart TV not a Glass TV.

Maybe resell it?

Don't  think you can get use sky glass  tv  outside  the the countries  that sky have set the tv up for and also the updates  are for the sky tvs  operating system  so that is probably  why the tv is not working

It will not work were you are and you need a sky subscription  aswell  for the update  as that is for the sky operating system is what the update  is for

I doubt that TV will recognize if i have subscription before software download. Also i dont need subscription to use hdmi inputs...

No but anyone in the uk will tell you that once they have cancelled  their subscription  it will  no longer update, and also once it is stuck on the updating  as i know from  the past as it happened  to me when my tv got stuck on update  and i in warranty  i had to ring sky and replacement  because it would to work

As you can not get the home screen up to use the inputs on the tv

And likely never will as SKy are only present in Germany/Austria, Italy, UK & Ireland.

Czech Republic have their own pay TV providers.
