@Totalwar2

Glass Gen 1 was launched in October 2021.

Unfortunately the Live camera wasn't ready until June 2023.

@micky50  on the assumption you bought it directly from sky I've asked the question if I get a response I'll post back

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

Had my refund - but it's gone onto my Sky account as credit. Thought it was being repaid back to original payment method - I paid in full on a credit card for it?

@82bit  I've flagged this to sky for clarification but in the meantime you could call sky and see if they will transfer the credit to your bank account

I have had my refund also credited to my account, I had paid  for the camera  in full when it first came out, I have been credited  £245, not the £290 we were told. Happy  for it to stay as credit  on my account

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

I got £242 back. Seems we all paid different prices for it!

Was hoping for it to be returned back to card - was going to use it to get the wife's Christmas present... she'll have to go without this year! 😂

@82bit  Have you tried phoning sky to see if they will send the credit to your bank account as I suggested last night

Re: We’re saying goodbye to Sky Live

@SKY1992bf the thought of having to do battle with Sky's telephone customer services menus and then trying to explain to a non-UK based representative this scenario, fills me with dread and fear - and I'm keen to avoid it! I don't fancy half an hour on the phone.

To be honest you shouldn't even have to phone to get it refunded to your bank account, especially if that is what you were told was going to happen in the comms Sky sent out to affected customers.

Just spoken  to sky and the refund  amount  depends  when you got the camera, if like me you got in and around  2023 at that time  it was £240 to buy not sure when it went  up but at some point  it went up to £290 so that's  why the difference in the refunds when it was first launched  on the 24 month  contract  in was £10 a month and on the  48 month contract it was £5 a month
