My sky glass TV has been damaged during renovations. It is still under warranty and would like to see if it can be replaced

Re: Sky glas warranty
Accidental damage like that would be unlikey to be covered under a warrantly.
If you have accidental coverage under your home insurance id suggest putting in a claim under that.

Re: Sky glas warranty
As above, that would be best dealt with from your house insurance policy.
The Sky Glass warranty will not cover you for accidental damage.
Unless you have taken out a separate policy with the the Sky Protect device insurance cover, as described here;

Re: Sky glas warranty
If you do not have insurance for the damaged TV, you might consider a second hand Glass... quite a few Gen 1s on sale on ebay and sometimes Gen 2.
They will likely be out of warranty and you would probably have to collect yourself.

Re: Sky glas warranty
Warranties cover manufacturing defects and consequent equipment issues: they cannot be used for accidental (or deliberate) damage claims.
Sky Glass is sold outright rather than being on any kind of hire purchase, so there's no automatic insurance cover on it even if the customer is making monthly payments over several years.
