Re: Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24

The activation code is from logging in to your accout on a phone or laptop etc. It should say the URL on the screen, something like http://sky.com/activate

Look on the bright side...

I think that a monumental catastrophe of the kind which has been (and still is) affecting some Sky Glass & Stream customers can only be a good thing.

The fall out from such a disastrous occurrence will have sent some necessary shockwaves through Sky HQ. This kind of thing simply should not happen. There will be some serious debriefing going on with technical teams to find out what exactly happened and why it took so long to work out a fix, or 'improvement' as Sky seem to call it.

In any case, Sky won't want something like this to happen again so I think we can be assured, or at least I hope we can, that improvements will be made to software update testing before unleashing them on unsuspecting and subscription paying customers.

It certainly hasn't made me want to rush back to being a Stream customer, that's for sure.
