Sky Glass Power up Issues 19-9-24

No tv all last night after trying everything.  A reset this morning just worked.

Ours is now back up and running since going down at 2000 ISH yesterday. Left it off all night and flicked it back in at 8am. Still nothing just steady flashing red light. 

Got it working by keeping the power button (lower right side) pressing for well over a couple of minutes. Eventually the sky logo came on the screen did a blue screen update. After that usual new out the box startup and all good again. 

Yes sky could have communicated better and I had to search the net to find out what the issue was but all good again so see how it goes .

I have been trying since yesterday. I phoned sky and they informed me of a current technical problem. Does anyone know how long this problem could go on for?

I am having the same problem frist it's the minni box last night now the same on the tv I've unplugged the plug from the wall for more than 10 minutes it's just doing the same stays red no difference .

Eventually got there!

Finding where to input the activation code was my problem, but easier to find on a laptop.

Also had to reset my pin number, but that worked eventually.

I wonder why SKY didn't send an email to everyone who has a SKY Glass account saying there was an issue?

Seems like the easier thing to do?

Anyway, thanks for your help ....... all I need to do now is stop all the emails! I an an inbox od almost 400 mails!

Hi. 

my sky glass was working fine. When we went to turn it back on it's just displaying a blank screen. The red light appears but that's all. 

I've unplugged it and left it however, still is not working. 

can anyone please give me some advise???

Just done a complete reset of my sky puk this has worked, it's a shame that it takes members of the forum to give us this fix and not sky direct,my contract finishes early next year definitely not renewing

Having same problem red lite slowly flashes,and its also the same on other tv,s in the household .
