Sky Glass ARC to Yamaha RX-A830 suddenly having dropout issues

My Sky Glass has been outputting audio to my Yamaha RX-A830 via HDMI ARC for ages but over the last week (Nov2023) the audio keeps dropping out for about 10secs, the sky glass audio system takes over while and then returns to the yamaha.  

This happens very intermittently. At worst, with a frequency of about 5mins between drops.

Whole system has been restarted. 

Does it with Auto and PCM modes.

Does it with various apps, channels and even sources (e.g. xbox).

I have yet to hear it happen with HDMI sources goin directly to the yamaha rather than via the ARC, which makes me think its the Glass.

Does anyone know what updates have been pushed out recently? Have had similar issues with SkyQ in the past, was eventually fixed with an update.

Does with Auto pcm and passthrough modes...tried all I can find

Same issue, i  have an RX V773.  Other inputs work fine and cbales have been changed. Any ides as to what is causing it?

I ended up buying a earc audio ripper device to stop the glitches but its not as convenient.  There is clearly a capability issue with yamaha chipsets.
