Re: Bt broadband and glass tv
Hi @BettyBoop
No you cannot purchase the TV without a subscription. However you can cancel the subscription after 31 days and resubscribe, unless you take an offer wich requires you to sign up to an 18 month contract.
The difficulty is your Sky subscription includes netflix, when you sign in your billing moves over to Sky and when you cancel this, it then cancels netflix and therefore a bit of a faff.
Sky Glass requires 25Mbps for HD and 30Mbps for UHD content for live content. All channels are delivered via internet. Sky glass needs strong and stable internet for it to work. However as others will point out, Glass TV is using quite old technology and you can get a lot more TV for your money buying a new TV elsewhere, so make sure you do your research. Therefore you may want to consider Sky Stream, but the internet requirements are the same for both.
The best option would be to wait untill you have broadband that can support it and consider your options.

Thank you for such a great answer.
I think you're right, we'll wait a little longer and then decide what option is best.
thank you !
