I have recently so called upgraded to sky glass and am starting to regret it as I believe it is a step backwards. I can no longer record half of what I did on sky q and there is no longer an option of plus one sorry but if this is progress I am not interested seriously contemplating of activating 30 day clause and sending it back and going back to sky q

It's a wholly different system not least because it has no internal recording service and doesn't rely on a satellite dish. It's absolutely vital to research carefully before you switch, so that you know in advance what you're buying.
Streaming services are the future, however, as the orbiting satellites are expected to be decommissioned probably before the end of the decade.

How does anyone sign up for sky glass without knowing exactly what it is! Even a salesperson wouldnt hide the fact that you dont get a box and the service comes through your broadband, its like buying an electric car and then asking the dealer the following week where do you put the petrol in!
