Inevitable, unavoidable! 24 month contracts and 'deals' that last for only 12-18 months. Sky ain't stupid.

@Paulaevans

The Sky Glass monthly bill typically has two components.  The repayment of the purchase loan will remain the same over either two or four years, but the cost of the content subscription will inevitably increase both annually (each April for the UK) and at the end of the initial contract period, which used to be 18 months and is now 24 months.
