My sky glass Tv has stopped connecting to the internet but my router works fine for my laptop

My Sky glass TV has stopped working.. It says it can't connect to the router but everything else that uses the internet is working fine. I've tried switching the TV off and back on again abd the router too. It hasn't worked for over 2 days. What is wrong?

It won't connect to WiFi . The Tv says there is no internet and to check the router but I've done all that. I think there must be something wrong with the TV.

Go into the Network Settings, scroll over to the Reset button, and reset the network settings and go through the process of reconnecting your TV to your wifi network.

@JanetMills  Another thing you could try is to unplug both your Glass TV and router.  Leave for a couple of minutes and the plug your router back in and wait for it to finish rebooting.  Once it has rebooted plug your glass TV back in and once it has also finished rebooting it will hopefully connect to the internet.

These solutions are all very well but the question should be, "why does this keep happening?" and "why do I keep having to go through this process?" and "what are Sky doing about it?".

It's obvioulsy a software bug and it needs fixing.

SKY -FIX THIS!!!!

sadly sky only tells you how to fix it each time, rather than doing something about it permanently.  The way to fix it is to fiddle.  That's their solution.  Fiddle with the settings, restart your TV, restart your router, re attach to the router.  All things you would do yourself anyway.

Eventually i managed to fix it.

But they won't stop it happening.  They need to make a software upgrade to stop it completely.  It's clearly a bug.

sorry for venting.

thanks
