Sky VIP - Why do I bother ?

I have been a sky customer for 22 years and in that time - I must have applied for 100's of "freebies / prizes" but have never won ANYTHING !!

I am also disabled - I am stuck in a wheelchair so would need considerable aid/ changes to get anywhere - not that sky ever run ANY events ANYwhere near me (the nearest has been over 150 miles away)

Why do I bother ?

I'm happy with the free movie I got at the start of VIP, after that I just ignore VIP as 99.99% of the offers don''t interest me so I don't know what I'm missing 🙂

Luck of the draw, I'm afraid. I don't bother to look any more as the prizes offered are of no meaningful value to me, whether I were to win or not.

@Mark39 The odds do not agree - someone who has  applied for virtually every offer for over 15 years WILL win something - but not in my case !

That's not how it works, as more and more people become VIPs and enter the draws the less likely you will win so the longer you have been a VIP the less likely you'll win

@Annie+UK The first part (number of VIP's affecting the odds) is true

The second part, claiming that the longer someone is a VIP for reduces the odds is not true

The second part is related to the first 🙄 The number of VIPs increases the longer you have been a VIP!

The longer you're a VIP, the higher level you become and depending on your level, you get more draw entries.
