...and as part of the setup process, a verification code is sent to the mobile number you gave, which you have to enter online to complete the setup process.

Since Wednesday I've not been able to get into emails due to verification code not coming through to my phone and I don't know my recovery code. How can I access my emails please help as sky are not doing anything to help.

@lynn.cain unfortunately there's nothing we customers here can do to resolve this. I'm afraid you'll have to persevere with Sky. They do have a specialist team who can help, but their existence appears not to be well known amongst the advisers who take calls.

I'm going through the same issues 5x I've phoned and many Sky support staff don't know how to deal with this. 

 

I have a, sky.com email address which I've had for years, I sometimes feel because that address became part of Yahoo mail several years ago they  (sky) are no longer interested. TBH

@JPDee Sky Yahoo Mail has run on the Yahoo platform for many years, but Sky Yahoo Mail and Yahoo mail are managed, supported and administered quite separately. 

 

From many previous posts, it does seem that Sky Yahoo Mail is not well understood among many advisers. If you're having the same problem with Verification codes, and didn't keep a separate note of your Recovery Code, all you can do, I'm afraid, is to persevere with Sky.

This is an old thread, it's possible your codes are going to your spam folder on the phone. See this post:

I am having the same problem since  24 th June 2026 which The Sky Team that I keep phoning on different numbers promise to clear but so far no joy. I had this trouble in 27th May 2026 and after phoning different numbers then a foreign lady on of Sky's help numbers was able to clear it in 24 hours to my surprise but silly me did not change my old phone number to my new mobile phone number and now find myself seeking help again. This problem makes you realise how much you rely on emails. Good luck everyone.
