Re: Email verification
@JTMech wrote:Android does indeed have a spam filter and Sky was at the top of the list with loads of verification codes.
If anyone with an Android phone as not receiving their verification codes, check your spam settings under your profile in the messages app.
OMG, I've always used Android phones,, and I never knew that!

Re: Email verification
I have a similar problem. I cannot access my emails yet I could two hours ago. THe system is asking for a phone number for a two stpe verification but I do not have a mobile and so cannot access my account.
I have been around the help pages and messaged the chat bot which is completely useless as it cannot seem to be able to read what I have written.
Can anyone tell me how to proceed as the help page says the two step is not manditory.
many thanks

Re: Email verification
@Lessa20 the help page is a bit out of date. Two step verification is now mandatory.

Re: Email verification
Hi,
So I've had this issue also, not receiving the two factor code to my mobile and hence no access to my email!
As posted above, I checked to see if I had any "Spam" text messages, No, I didn't know that was a thing either!
Anyway there wern't any.
So, I followed this route on my Android Sony Xperia 1 mk 5 :
Text message app, which for me is 'Google messages'
Then _ My picture to the menu
Then _ "Spam and blocked"
Then _ the three dots
Then _ "blocked numbers"
Then right down to the end of the list I found "Sky" which I unchecked and trie my laptop login process again. Success!!!
I'll leave it to you all to figure out why I might have blocked Sky iin the first place!
