I don't seem to be able to get my sky emails. I have "an account error" message.
My gmail account is fine.
I am expecting an important email but not able to receive it.
I have updated my iPhone and iPad, still no sky emails!!!
Any ideas?

That confirms that there's no problem with your Sky Yahoo Mail account.
There have been several reports over the last few days of similar problems with the Apple mail app which is what I imagine you're using in your iPad and iPhone.
Until Apple sort it out, you can either log in to your email via the link provided before or ypu might want to think about installing another email app such as the Yahoo Mail app.

No message, and using the link you sent I have not had an email since 14.04.
My husband gets the same message..

At the bottom of my emails it says
"Account error Yahoo"
Also another message that says "can't connect to server".

My husband has a sky account but it is different to mine.
Spent about 35 minutes talking to a sky employee, who said my router was in the wrong place, moved it but still only getting emails now and again.

I have no idea why they said that but whatever the issue is here as long as you have a working internet connect the location of your router has nothing to do with this.

I agree with @caesarome . Nothing to do with how your router is positioned.
Can you confirm whether or not your husband can log in and see,his emails ok via the link @jayach posted? I'm guessing that's not how he usually acesses his email, but it may highlight where the problem lies.

Moved the hub, same problem. Been onto Sky again. This time told to use Apple mail.
