This is how we usually go into emails on our iPhones and iPad. Hope this makes sense. Link worked but never got in any other way than as per my screenshot.

I can sign in via the link but I normally just click the envelope on my screen. Works now when it feels like it, even with the router moved.!!
iPhone and iPad both IOC 16.1.

That confirms that there's no problem with your Sky Yahoo Mail account.
There have been several reports over the last few days of similar problems with the Apple mail app which is what I imagine you're using in your iPad and iPhone.
Until Apple sort it out, you can either log in to your email via the link provided before or ypu might want to think about installing another email app such as the Yahoo Mail app.

At last,you finally answered the question. There really was no reason to move the router.
I presume your husband can also log in via the link.

Changed the sky accounts to Yahoo, moved the router back to where it was, no problems (yet).
