Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@leon25 one of the main causes of packet loss is wifi interference which is why keen gamers use an ethernet connection rather than wifi. Using a booster and even connecting via ethernet from the booster doesn't eliminate the WiFi jump from the hub.
Assuming that is impractical to useca cable from the hub to your device then restarting your Sky hub will find the best wifi channel nesr the hub but that may not be the best near your hub. Downloading an app like Wifi Analyzer onto an Android phone will show you all of the wifi network signals within range with their channel and signal strength. You will get interference if your hub is using the same or adajacent wifi channel with another network. You can manually change the channel your hub uses by following these instructions https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/How-to-change-your-Sky-wireless-channel/ba-p/2687733
