what do you mean by you don't have sky broadband

Sky supplies something like six million households with broadband nationally: any individual outage is most often unrelated to any other.

 

It's best to start your own thread, and 

if you post your Hub stats, we'll have some information about your particular phone line and internet connection to work with.

@Merlin010 @If your internet is down you should phone Sky and report it as that then starts the 48 hour compensation clock ticking. If you don't report the issue you can't get any potential compensation if it isn't fixed within 48 hours.
