WiFi signal and speed it’s poor

Hi, I have your internet, the problem is that in the room on the first floor where I work, the maximum download speed that has been recorded is 150 megabytes, currently it is not possible to connect with a cable, is there any possibility to increase the signal and speed, and is it also possible to separate the 2.4G and 5G bands, because I noticed that they are combined.

@Krystiano1 Depends on what you have, see the link below! Speed will depend on what you are doing, and without a doubt cable is the best way!

WiFi speeds always degrade the further away from the hub a device is connecting from plus whatever is blocking signal eg walls.

Also while 150 may not be close to speed at the hub, is it sufficient for your current need?

You should be able to using Sky's own booster equipment, or go down the road of purchasing your own mesh network equipment.

and is it also possible to separate the 2.4G and 5G bands, because I noticed that they are combined.

See this discussion re splitting bands. If you want more  network control your own mesh system is the way to go.

My network has split bands and each mesh node/ hub utilises wireless backhaul through my 3 storey home. The node furthest away recorded speed of 400/80 down/up tested using a laptop and ethernet cable (2F below)
