Re: WiFi not working

I was watching a couple of episodes of something while waiting for the Sky guy to come this morning ....he arrived just as it was getting to a gritty bit! Had to wait just over an hour to see what happened (reminds me of the days you had to wait a while week for the next episode to come on TV!)

Re: WiFi not working

Mine seems to have come back on again. Looks like it was off for about 30-45 minutes.

Re: WiFi not working

First time it's happened to me ( that I've noticed usually sleeping at this time of night)  everybody's had the same faults/issue tonight . I've had no issues with sky so far and I've been with them for a few years  . I think it was just maintenance 🤞🏻

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Any broadband issues between midnight and 7am could be essential overnight maintenance taking place which is carried out then to minimise disruption. There’s no pre-warning of this. See this pinned post at the top of the Broadband board from Sky which could be relevant any night this happens…
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/Important-Notice-Scheduled-Broadband-Maintenance/td-p/5151847...

If you have an ONT box displaying a red light, see this further advice…
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband-Talk/Can-t-connect-to-broadband-and-have-a-red-light-on-your-...

Hopefully it’s back up and running before 7am. If it’s not, post back in this thread and we can try to offer additional advice.

Re: WiFi not working

@Edward51 Power reset your sky Hub, and open up your own post would be a better idea! The Forum is not customer service, so you cannot talk but you do need to supply some kind of information for any help!

Re: WiFi not working

Hi my wifi keeps going off. It's been happening for 24 hours. It works again when I unplug, but then goes off again. Can you help please? It's currently showing a red light on my router.

Re: WiFi not working

@Christine132 The answer is NO the Forum is just not sky Customer Service. See if the help below does anything for you!

If you haven’t done it already use the below link to check to see if there are any broadband problems or outages nearby if enough time has passed for a fault condition to be displayed by the software test! This should determine if there's an identified fault affecting multiple households.

Re: WiFi not working

Any advise please, both mobile phones connected to the wifi in the house keep dropping out. My so has now run out of mobile data because of it. This been happening on and off for a couple of weeks in the middle of the day. WIFI check sayseverything is ok but its not. We couldnt get any closer to the sky box. What should I do next? I've tried turning the box on and off it works for a short time but the happens again.

Re: WiFi not working

@Lynsey0574 Turn mobile data off on the mobile phone! Then see if the mobile continues to hang onto the wireless wifi signal!
