Unable to change simple settings on my Sky Max Hub

Hi,

I am unable to change some things on my hub. It's greyed out. I installed the mysky app to find no option to change settings there either. I spoke to sky eariler via text but had to call their tech department which i'm unable to do at the moment due to a short term illness.

Installation date was Yesterday

It can take 24-48hours for those processes to appear on your my sky app

In the meantime try logging out of my sky and uninstall.  Then re install and sign back in

Re: Unable to change simple settings on my Sky Max Hub

Hi Cookiemonsteruk,

I tried that today, but unfortunately, there was no change. Is there a way to change basic router settings without the need for an app? Is there any way to unlock the locked options in the hub itself? It's a bit of a dealbreaker, I didn't know Sky locked down their equipment quite like this

No, and no.

It's a new thing: all ISPs are moving to in-app router administration because it's increasingly hard to get browsers to talk to hardware which ships with self-signed SSL certificates.
