Hi All
Ive recently joined Sky and for some reason I'm having difficulty getting 2.4ghz devices to connect to the hub.
I have Teckin smart plugs none of which I can connect. I've tried turning off 5ghz on the hub but even with only the 2.4ghz I still can't connect.
I have the same issue with my ring chime (all other ring devices connect no issue)
I have also today disconnected one echo speaker and now not able to rejoin it.
I've searched the community on here and only see lots of issues since around 2020, but no resolutions.
Anyone found any way to resolve without having to buy all new devices?
I will persevere in finding a resolution and I also have a wifi engineer coming out. If I find a solution or engineer gives a solution I will post on here.
Very frustrating at the moment.

Progress!!
I have managed to get a Tecking 2.4ghz plug to connect via my iPhone.
process: MySky APP - Broadband - WiFi settings - advanced settings - WiFi security - security level WPA2 - save changes. Then back to advanced settings - disable WiFi - continue - continue - gateway - turn off 5ghz - come out of menu.
Then go to your app that you down load the smart device to and complete the set up.
Mine connect first time. I have since gone back in and turned back on 5ghz and plug stays connected. I have tried to change the security settings back to the highest level, but will give it a go and update on here over the coming days.
I will also try the other devices I have ie Ring Chime another 2.4ghz and update.
Very happy 😃

Hi I've followed the instructions here and managed to get reconnected to my teckin plugs 🙌🏻
However I'm now finding that on other devices the WiFi signal is poor and keeps dropping and I'm wondering if it's safe to change back to the WPA3-T from WPA2 or will this kick all of my plugs out of connection again?
Thanks in advance for any help

I spoke to sky today after I'd knocked out my broadband trying this and the agent said it's due to the security on the max hub. This rather annoys me (being polite)
