My pod has arrived but it won't connect to the sky max router.
I have plugged it in near the router to ensure there is a good signal but no success. I have scanned the QR code in the box and tried the manual connection without success many times.
Does anyone have any ideas for me to try?

@Skyuser41 check the pod appears in the My Sky app ss there have been issues where pods have not been added properly. The pods show no lights when connected to the hub and it takes time for the wifi to optimise so dont expect devices to suddenly connect and it isnt something you can directly control.

Yes I have a bungalow and it will not connect in have started at one end of the bungalow to the over end and it still won't work

Hi there, has anyone found a fix for this? i got my third pod today and it will not connect at all, when i try to connect it manually i just get an error message saying something went wrong.

@UK+Sgt+7094 is the third pod listed in the My Sky app? If it isnt give sky a call as it needs to be added.? Intially try linking it tomthe hub by plugging it in close to it once paired move it to the desired location but remember these units need a decent connection back to the hub so should be half way between the nearest hub or pidcand wherevyou need tge boost.

thanks, it is not showing in the app, i pluged it in about 4 feet away from the hub bt no joy, got an engineer comming out on Saturday anyway so hopefully he can fix it, just returned to sky last month and not been impressed so far with the new kit.

Hi, sorry to jump on this thread but I'm having the same issue, only I'm unable to find anywhere to input the serial number in the Sky app? I've been trying for over an hour to get the pod to connect to the hub with no luck!

so the only way to fix it was for the engineer to add it to my account, this does not happen even when they order it for you, still got a dark spot in the hous though with 3 pods conected so no idea what the next step is, the engineer recommended i spend £200 on a third party rounter instead of using sky equipment, bit of a joke really.

It's so frustrating. Did you pay extra to get this resolved? I have tried multiple times but no luck. Will have to contact Sky again tomorrow.

Yes I have WiFi boost. I have been on with sky multiple times and tried everything. The staff appear to be clueless how to help me and are just replacing things. First sent me a 2nd pod, now replacing the router. Extremely frustrating .

so got three pods now but still one dead zone in the room directly above the router, the sky equipment is the issue and the engineer says the same thing, the old equipment had better range but the new stuff he says is trash (all 3 engineers i have had agree on this). the hub struggles to connect to a pod 8 feet away in the hallway beside the living room.
He has said they can do nothing and that the call centree has to deal with it, but of course i cannot get a call back from the call centre, i have been with Sky again now for 2 months and total disaster.

Hi,
I received my new broadband including Sky Max Pod last week but it constantly flashes. I followed all the help stages and it told me to go to the app settings but the products show greyed out and not activated. The broadband hub is connected, but is going from working to not working constantly. Surely it should be stable after 6 days!
I don't know what to do.
