Re: Sky Max Pod not connecting
A Sky technician fixed the fault eventually. When openreach installed my router, they had me go buy a new Ethernet cable from screwfix so that the route could be placed on the other side of the room to my input through the wall. The openreach person told me to buy a specific cable (RJ45 cat 5E) which I did. The Sky technician changed the Ethernet cable and all of my pods connected throughout the house (3 pods).

Re: Sky Max Pod not connecting
That's It, the problem: you can never get a decent signal from sky Wi-Fi max set up and the pods, It's absolutely useless for 900 speeds and above, unfit for purpose. Ok if you can hard wire your hole house, instead we are left with no choice other than to pay for a third party router that is fit for purpose and also a third party mesh system. Sky are outrageous giving this **bleep** equipment to us with full fibre. We should all complain.

Re: Sky Max Pod not connecting
To be fair, since the Sky technician came and changed my Ethernet cable from the one I bought from screwfix (which openreach TOLD me to buy..) my pods have been fantastic. I pay for 500mb broadband and anywhere in the house I'm getting at least 300-350 and in the living room where the main router is I'm getting 480. We've got 3 pods throughout the house which they installed and they've been perfect since.

Re: Sky Max Pod not connecting
I have the pod and have had it for two weeks. It's been working just great. Now? It's not picking up the signal to my bedroom.
I live in a bungalow. If it worked for two weeks why isn't it working now?

Re: Sky Max Pod not connecting
Have you tried the reconnection route by inputting the number on the back of the puck?

Re: Sky Max Pod not connecting
@Kitty30 WiFi conditions can change. Normally position thecextender no morecthan half way between the hub and wherecyou need s boost. If your bungalow has solis internal walls thst would explain the difgiculty.
