Openreach engineer suggested new router

sky checker, said you have problems with WiFi, an openreach engineer was sent out by sky. He did diagnostic check on router afterifting my speed which had dropped, said router faulty Iwill request new one for you, long story short, I have complained on several occasions I haven't received it they don't seem to think I should have one unless a technician speaks to me, they have done diagnostic tests yesterday there is a problem, phone cuts out 3 times now, emails repeat same things, sky checker showing fault, message on phone network unstable. How do I get some to send the new router that is clearly needed,. Same phone number given for technical service, and customer service yet no one helps. Help needed please!!!

Re: Openreach engineer suggested new router

Hi, @jamesn123 a technician phoned me yesterday evening, and a sky engineer is supposed to be coming out on Monday morning to install a new router.🙏🤞

We shall see.

Thank you for your response, I will bear you in mind for possible future help! I am hoping that the engineer will help me re- set my devices with the new password etc.

My son who usually helps me  set up any new devices  like my laptop, works in IT but lives in Poland!!

@Missy15

If its a Sky engineer attending then yes they should be able to help you reconnect devices. If its Openreach they may not be so helpful.
