Connect sky booster to starlink

Hi recently updated wifi to starlink however i cant connect sky internet booster as it must be done by wps button on both booster and wifi, however starlink does not have a wps button on the router. Is this the only way to connect? Really frustrating and help appreciated

@Chaz98 the Sky bosters are designed to only work with Sky hubs. If you want to extrnd a Starlink wifi you will have to buy a third party booster.

@Chaz98

Usually Sky would ask for the boosters back if you cancelled your Sky Broadband subscription as they are only loaned to you.

@Chaz98

So its not a Sky booster then? Your inital post said Sky booster.

When not using Sky broadband you need to connect to the WiFi network manually on your Sky Q box by searching for networks, clicking on the appropriate one and then entering the password.

@Chaz98

You are not being clear at all. Your inital post said Sky booster, then you said it was a TP-Link extender, now you are saying its a Sky booster again.

Please tell us exactly what Sky hardware you have, including Sky Q boxes & mini boxes.

Re: Connect sky booster to starlink

Youve read it all wrong. Tplink is extension of starlink network but shows as its own network... the sky booster will not connect to neither starlink or tplink as there is no wps button

@Chaz98

Okay understood now.

So when you do not have Sky Broadband the Sky boosters are only designed to pair with other Sky Q products, they do not work when trying to connect via WPS to a non-sky router.

If you say you had it working with BT that sounds like the booster was running off one of your other Sky Q products.

The only other way a Sky booster would connect to a non-sky broadband router would be via ethernet.
