Not getting the right sppeds/broadband keeps dropping

Dince I switched to fibre ultra fast the broadband regularly drops and I have to switch it off and on again. I have called about this and followed the reboot advice and they will check back in a week about it.

Secondly I'm not getting the speeds I should be getting. I know not everything is connected via cable but I should still be getting faster. Just tested my speed on speetest.by Oookla and download speed is 257.68 and this PC is steps away from the router on the same floor no blockages by walls or doors. I tried to watch a 4K movie that had dolby atmos sound and that just buffered last night so I had to watch it without that atmos sound and it played. In my sky account when I look at the speed check it says todays speed is 521 so which speed test do I believe?

I'm thinking a new router is needed but they guy said if it continues they'll see what could be causing interference. It's been like this since the start and disappointing I am paying so much more for basically the same as what I had before but without it dropping all the time.

@Chigirlx  What are you running the speed tests over?  Ethernet or wifi?

Please can you post your router stats so the forum can advise on any issues. This link explains how to do that https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/td-p/2855717#

@Chigirlx  Wifi is the slowest part of your network, if the PC is so close to the hub use ethernet and test using that.  Speeds should be closer to the line speed.

Haven't got another cable to do that, I'll get one. However what about it dropping out totally since getting it?

@Chigirlx  The log isn't of any use, we need the router stats as per the link posted earlier.

As advised it does njot help and your image can't be approved as it displays your IP, it is your router stats we need.  Without them we can't help.
