Connection keeps dropping

We have full speed fibre broadband but over the last three to four weeks have had a lot of issues with connectivity- Reset router many many times and still struggle to have it stay online for more than 5 minutes at a time.

these are the stats for our router - Would be great if someone could help diagnose the issue

Those aren't the full router stats but from what I can tell it looks like FTTP or G.fast with a modem. If it is FTTP then the router may be rebooting by itself which would be a faulty router that needs replacing. To obtain a new router contact Sky by phone on 150 from the house phone. If the phone isn't working because it VoIP and the connection then a superuser will need to escalate the post because of a likely faulty router to Sky.

-------

Zen internet on FTTP (900Mbps down, 100Mbps up). SAT> IP (Apple 4K 2nd gen TV to LG C1 OLED UHD TV/Dolby Atmos Denon AVR, DacMagic Plus for Hi-Res audio), hosting own blog/forum (cluster), OPNsense & Zenarmor L4/L7 NGFW & DPI IDS/IPS, Asus ET12 Pro Tri-Band wifi, Linux, Gamer: Xbox Series X/i7 laptop, round-robin DNS over HTTPS, non-proprietary VoIP HD AMR-WB (G.722.2) and more... Beta tester Apple iOS/watchOS/tvOS/iPadOS/macOS.

Re: Connection keeps dropping

Hi - Thanks for the response. We have FTTP and the router is rebooting every 5 or so minutes so much so that its become unusable. We now have an engineer booked for the 4th of June.

Your wifi bands dropped almost at the same time between 38 and 46 seconds prior to posting.  This may indicate a faulty router or a very powerful electro magentic source
